We wish things could be easier or we feel entitled to a better life. If things don’t go as planned, we get desperate and scared.
Desperation itself isn’t an emotion that is beneficial to our growth unless we learn to let go and focus on building ourselves from the inside.
When we feel desperate, we act differently. We make decisions out of fear and we are in a rush. Our brain is paralyzed by a lack of control of the outside events and hopelessness takes place.
There are two types of desperation we experience: one comes from the desire to control and the other is linked to our relationships when we are scared to lose people.
